Always friendly and clean. I love the salads they make here. I come often for one. My family enjoys coming for the food and desserts.

You wouldn't think it, but they have the BEST salads here! Fresh, crisp romaine lettuce - not from bag. All veggies freshly cut. Chicken? Grilled fresh each morning. Dressing? House- made ranch is soooo good! Croutons? Yep, fresh baked. Ask for a salad punch card. In a few weeks, you'll get a free one. Or is that just me...? Check 'em out, you won't be disappointed!

Great 1st time experience eating here with coworkers. I ordered their daily special: Chili cheese dog and then I ordered their gyro to try. Both were really great! The hotdogs was very tasty and not very salty. The chili and cheese on top blended really well together with the hot dog with a very light and soft bun! The fries was so crispy and light on the salt. I really loved it. The gyro was huge and was really good! Will definitely come back and try other items on the menu.

I have been craving this for over 30 years when I went to school at Great Lakes. My daughter just graduated BC and I saw it was still here so we had to stop. We ordered almost one of everything. Lol. Still just as delicious as it was back then. The same family is running it too. We had to go back before we left out of town so our daughter could have an Italian roast beef. Yum!

I can't believe it's exactly like it was 29 years ago! This was the first place my wife and I went to together when we started dating. I had a chicago dog and peanut butter/chocolate malt shake and they were delicious! I brought my own adobo seasoning, so the fries were good too.

This past late March marked the first time in over a decade that I've had 5 Points whether dining or takeout and I've sure been missing it. I'm a foodie so unfortunately I'm all over the place constantly trying different restaurants. In the relatively short time I lived in the nearby navy housing in Halsey Village when my dad was at his final tour in the service is mainly when I had my fill of this place except that it was at the original location further down the road near Buckley. The timing was right on the day I finally came here right after a dental appt nearby that ended at almost 10am when this venue opens. I work overnight and work a lot of early daily overtime prior to the start of my regular shift so I'm usually in bed too early to make it here during the week. Although this isn't the original location, it's the name that sticks in my head and will always have a place in my heart, got that feeling of nostalgia when I first stepped in. I remember during '88-'89 when my dad would walk with me cutting thru the baseball field in the housing area so he could buy/cash in his lotto tickets at the Mobil station then sometimes we'd stop at 5 Points for some quick Chicago style grub. Chicago style food is a way of life around here, definitely part of the culture of living in the Chicago area. The food here has always been delicious and I hope for continued success & prosperity for the owner(s).

Very casual, order at the front desk and sit down kind of place. Super easy to read menu. Great for kids food was fabulous. I had the number one to Chicago dogs fries and a drink. Husband had his favorite, which is the Gyro. Very handicap accessible. There are no curbs plenty of parking spots. Just can’t beat it for a quick dog.
